Chicago Zine Fest 2014

Thank you Chicago! Chicago zine fest was wonderful. Our two half tables were together as one full table which was wonderful. We were at the corner of a long line of tables on the 8th floor. We had so much room behind our table and that was super because then friends could hang with us and there was room for all our backpacks.

I got a new Tips and Tricks booklet done. I will have information on my zines up soon. (Goal, by April)

Thank you so much everyone who let us crash on your floors and couches. Thank you to Jessie and Ben and Mike for being people who drive and for the great ride down to Chicago and back.

CHICAGO ZINE FEST!!!

I will be in Chicago on Saturday, March 15th for my third Chicago Zine Fest and splitting a half table with the lovely Jessie Oleson!

-Horses, Horses, Horses - A Mpls Doodleclub zine about childhood obsessions
-4th of July - A Mpls Doodleclub zine split between our 4th of July memories and our 2013 4th of July activities.

-Shawna's Ants! zine
-Lea's zine
-My informational zine about hooking an old tv up to a digital converter box.

and maybe a few other old ones and *maybe* a new one.

Jessie will have her beautiful zines and some tapes for sale!

If I'm feeling like breaking rules I may bring some eye pillows and glow tooth charms too.

I made totoro-esque pin cushions. There are also zines, eye pillows, hair bows, glow teeth charms and sewing notions. ALSO happy acorns. 

Christmas book!

My mother made a book of Christmas songs and activities and I helped illustrate it. Maybe you have seen it at the craft fair or zine fest... Well, Micawbers in beautiful Saint Anthony Park (St Paul, off Como) has a few copies available. They are on the shelf near the graphic novels, across from the magazine. Just in time! Great for people learning to play treble clef instruments!

If you have never been to Micawbers, you should change that. It is a wonderful store. They have great books for grownups and great books for kids (that adults would also like to check out).  The few books they have by Dorothy Kundardt are wonderful.  (see...)

PARK AVE POP UP SHOP (12-14-13)

This is happening next weekend. I will have some little things there. It is at my friends house and should be fantastic. I (total bummer) work the hours that the sale is happening.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out on Monday (11/18/13). We had great company, a snowflake making station, a drawing station and delicious snacks and carbonated beverages.

The show is up until December 4th. If you wat there before then, check out the zines and nice things to look at. 

MODERN TIMES SHOW

Some gals from Doodle Club and I have a show up at Modern Times. It will be up until the 4th of December. 

We will have a party thing on Monday the 18th, from 7 to 10 pm. 

Zines will be for sale, some new things will be added, it will be fun! 

To see more art, you will just have to go eat some delicious food and check it out in person.
