Christmas book!

My mother made a book of Christmas songs and activities and I helped illustrate it. Maybe you have seen it at the craft fair or zine fest... Well, Micawbers in beautiful Saint Anthony Park (St Paul, off Como) has a few copies available. They are on the shelf near the graphic novels, across from the magazine. Just in time! Great for people learning to play treble clef instruments!

If you have never been to Micawbers, you should change that. It is a wonderful store. They have great books for grownups and great books for kids (that adults would also like to check out).  The few books they have by Dorothy Kundardt are wonderful.  (see...)

Thank you Minneapolis.

This is my table half I had at the fair. It is full of fun things. What bums me out the most is when people walk by, look from 3+ feet away and then keep walking. I try to go up and down the rows looking at everything unless it is super crowded or the people are engaged in something and not welcoming. But come on folks, be a looky-loo! Come in, touch things, open books, smell the eye pillows, lets talk about the weather and the cute dogs roaming around.

Thank you everyone who came out in Sunday for the craft fair. Our tent was nice and fun and full. I had a wonderful time. It is kind of awesome to be stuck in a ten by ten foot area with some friends you don't see nearly enough for about 8 hours. It is also really great to see all these other awesome handmade things that other people make, AND for the most part folks are really friendly and you can craft nerd out and talk shop.

Hello Friends!

Fixing, Making, Recreating. Documentation/instruction from some of the mending I do, things I make, and 'up-cycling' projects.

Doodle Club! Every week I get together with some rad ladies I know and drink coffee and eat snacks (or dinner), show and tell books we like, and draw together. We just finished our first mini zine!

See What I Saw. This is a collection of pictures of things I see that I think look like something else. Then my drawing of what I saw.
If you see something that you think looks like something else, please send me your picture, I will draw what I see, then you send me your drawing of what you saw and I will post it!
